Photographer Biography
Alexander Kharlamov: Photographer at photo.net I was born in 1988 in Moscow, Russia. And I came to Portugal when I was 5 years old. Since an early age I have been very interested in all kind of arts. I have been studying arts for 7 years in a studio since I was eight years old. I have also studied music for 8 years (piano). I started doing digital alterations since I was 12 years old until now, and I love it. In 2005 I became more and more interested in photography, manly digital because of manipulation. My favorite painters are Dali, Monet, Miro, Escher, Van Gogh, Goya and others of the genre. I love surrealism and I try to transform my reality in what you see, expressing feelings and the dark side of the world, making it beautiful (I hope). I paint and I like to mix techniques, making a drawing and manipulate it digitally, remixing it with photos and textures. I also do web-design / artworks and I was part of a small metal band called “Broken Line”. Everything that you have to say about my pieces of work is very important to me and welcome. Now I’m an Aveiro University student on Industrial Management Engineering.
