Lantos Istvàn: “I was born on 24th November 1961, Budapest. I had been a scriptwriter for long years but now I find it quite difficult to tell about myself as a photographer.. I started taking photographs in 1984 as I worked as a photographer and graphic artist of a cultural institute. I succedeed in learning the know-how of several techniques in quite a short time. I had a group of environmentalist photographers. In 1992 I was forced to drop out. In 2005 I continued right where I stopped. At least I tried, because I’m sure you’ll see the difference between my old and new pictures. Nowadays I work with films as well and it’s rather interesting to see the two techniques side by side. I have plenty of plans so I hope we can work together soon. I’m excited about expressing feelings with the help of my camera.”
