I didn’t know that comic books where that old! (even wiki doesn’t mention it). I knew cartoons and mocking drawings where used quite a lot in the past centuries, but these are total comic books. You can find a lot of different ones here.
I found one that was used in the American presidential campaign. The comic mocks the alliance between Willie (the president) and the trusts.
